According to Ned Brainerd in HotWired, at the Snap Online launch party, CNET staffers weren't allowed to eat anything in order to save money. His suggestion: "The next time you attend a CNET-hosted event, we suggest you do a good turn and slip a canape into the pocket of the nearest starving CNET employee. That way, they'll at least be able to sneak a bite in the bathroom."
